Deadly incident near Bouca (Ouham)

(Bangui, 30 May 2026 | LAMINE MEDIA) A fatal incident near Bouca, more precisely near the village of Gbawi Yongo, thirty-five kilometres from Bouca, claimed the life of a soldier from the Central African Armed Forces. This occurred on 27 May, at around ten o’clock in the morning; stationed in Ngatoua, a town situated forty kilometres from the centre of Bouca, the victim had travelled to visit his partner in a village located twelve kilometres from Gbawi, which is fourteen kilometres from Bouca Centre. It was on his return journey that the man was ambushed by the armed group. His body was recovered and transported to Bangui.
