ANE Audited by the Court of Auditors

(Bangui, July 24, 2026 | LAMINE MEDIA) Yesterday, the National Elections Authority (ANE) held a working session with the Court of Auditors, which had come to verify that financial matters were proceeding correctly. The meeting took place at the ANE headquarters and was chaired by Jimy Zitongo Bodeman, the institution's Rapporteur General and spokesperson. The ANE needed to demonstrate that its financial management fully complies with the Court's directives. There is much to be said regarding the ANE's use of funds, given that—among other issues—it fails to pay a significant portion of its employees... It should be noted that, as part of its mandate, the Court of Auditors regularly verifies the regularity, accuracy, and compliance of the ANE’s financial operations, while issuing recommendations—where necessary—to further improve the management of public resources.
